Established in 2009, NYC Alliance has become a leading, vertically-integrated, multi-channel apparel company that seamlessly connects demand to supply.Associate DesignerThe Associate Designer works closely with the design team to develop and create innovative and trend-forward designs for our various apparel collections.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and tech packsParticipate in trend research and analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and graphicsAttend and contribute to design meetingsStay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysisAssist in sample management and coordinate with manufacturersSupport the design team in various design projects and tasksRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related fieldPrior experience in a design role, preferably in the apparel industryProficient in design software such as Illustrator and PhotoshopStrong creative and conceptual skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesGood communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processesBenefitsCompetitive compensation packagesMedical, Dental, Vision, FSARetirement Savings Plan MatchSummer FridaysDiscounts and More!Annual Salary $58,000-75,000The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
