What you will do:

We are growing! We are looking to find a passionate Sr. Marketing Manager who can make a real impact through marketing. The Senior Marketing Manager, Baseball & Softball will be responsible to lead our key marketing initiatives focused on continuing to grow our Diamond Sports' business. This role's main priority will be to develop and lead execution of marketing plans for all product launches, brand ambassadors and contractual marketing assets in the Baseball/Fastpitch softball category to ensure that plans are based on relevant data, trends and/or key cultural insights. In addition, the Senior Marketing Manager will strive to ensure that our plans and execution speak louder than our budgets. This key position will also be the main liaison internally with the product, partnerships, creative, sales, digital marketing/e-commerce and social media teams.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of marketing strategy and executional elements as well as Baseball and Fastpitch Softball culture. This individual will need to have the ability to juggle several priorities at once and will need to be able to work independently but also be able to lead. 30% of travel will be required.

The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report directly to the VP, Marketing.

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:Craft, write and execute a responsible growth focused 1-3-year marketing plan and update as needed. Gain input from all key stakeholders and gain alignment.Develop and align the annual marketing budget and manage the budget throughout the year.

Maximize efficiency and ROI on all initiatives.Develop a budget that prioritizes the most important business initiatives.

Build plan to enhance activation of MLB roster.Identify, negotiate and manage key influencers.Develop media partnerships and approach for Baseball/Fastpitch Softball.Develop and execute grassroots marketing.Lead PR efforts, including managing agency relationship.Drive and lead marketing calendar to ensure that are initiatives are synchronized.Develop improved creative briefing process.Collaborate and drive social media efforts for Brand as a whole.Develop interesting collaborations that grow brand equity.Present the category and key concepts to key customers, distributors and internal stakeholders.Play a role with all key partnerships (including MLB) to ensure they are activated and maximized.Listen closely to consumers, key accounts and distributors to build better results.Develop strong trade plans to ensure results with key retailers.Develop marketing over time that can be used in international markets.Build knowledge of Franklin brand to contribute to other categories of business.Other projects as assigned.WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in marketing10+ years of success marketing experience/leadership ideally with an emphasis on Baseball/Fastpitch Softball.Relevant experience with a Sporting Goods and/or Apparel/Footwear brand.Experience working with high-level sports organizations and professional athletes.Culturally connected to Baseball and Fastpitch Softball.WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE:

Strategic, long-term leader.Ability to manage multiple priorities and juggle between daily, weekly, monthly demands.Entrepreneurial mentality and eagerness to grow within the company.Proven leadership experience.Excellent presentation/public speaking ability.Highly organized, motivated and task oriented.Advanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to work well under pressure and able to work cross functionally with all levels in the organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to travel up-to 30% of the calendar year, via car, plane or train with travel to assigned locations with overnight stays.LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Interact independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions.

This position does not currently supervise employees.
