Our life-sized pop-up floral bouquets consist of whimsical and breathtaking blooms that are wilt-proof and crafted to last a lifetime. Our paper sculptures are affordable, environmental, artful, and lasting. We are poised to take a bite out of the $8 billion fresh cut flower industry and the $6 billion greeting card market. Our product is a compelling, contemporary, alternative way to send flowers and yes they are beautiful.Beyond having a fraction of the carbon footprint of imported flowers, we plant a tree for every bouquet sold, and partner with 1% for the Planet, an organization and global movement that tirelessly works to tackle our planet’s most pressing environmental issues.The Opportunity:FreshCut Paper is seeking an experienced and multidisciplinary graphic designer who can bring their creative energy to a range of projects - from developing beautiful product catalogs to reimagining packaging to support our growing product line. The ideal candidate has experience in consumer packaging and print design, a strong eye for typography and is a natural out of the box thinker.What you will be doingConduct research and develop creative concepts for a range of packaging needs including instructions, boxes, envelopes, insertsDesign and layout of print assets including catalog, sale sheets, retail display assets and other communication materialsProficiency in utilizing in-house prototyping equipment such as printers, laser cutting machines, and Exacto knives to build physical mock-ups and quickly validate ideasRefine ideas into production-ready designs and files for mass productionDemonstrated ability to handle a mix of short-term and longer-term projects effectivelyStrong organizational skills and the capability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and project requirementsComfortable breaking templates and thinking outside the box to bring fresh and unique ideas to the tableAbility to contribute creative energy and expertise to enhance the collaborative and creative atmosphere of the team✨What success looks like:As a fast growing business with explosive potential the product will need to grow with the business. Successful people will create impact and put the team over individual wins.RequirementsWhat you will bring1-3 years of professional experienceExperience with bringing designs through print production with a handful of packaging projects under your beltStrong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.
