Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) offers cutting edge, evidence-based leadership development and coaching. LDI is housed in the College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE).The Program & Marketing Coordinator will manage marketing strategies and program and event logistics for the Leadership Development Institute. This role requires strong marketing, communication, relationship building, and organizational skills to effectively enhance program visibility and execution.

Job Responsibilities:20% - Marketing:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to effectively promote leadership events and programs to targeted audiences, using advanced tools like Cvent, Qualtrics, and Canva. In coordination with the LDI team, design and approve multiple event websites, LDI website, LDI communications and marketing and promotional materials. Create engaging content for various marketing channels including social media, email newsletters, and print materials. Disseminate marketing materials across platforms to ensure consistent messaging and outreach in line with LDI's strategic plan. Maintain social media groups and email platforms involving continued stakeholder engagement. Route and secure event approvals from college OCES team. Works Collaboratively with the Office of Communication and University Relations and adheres to the standards set therein.15% - Data Analysis:

Evaluate the success of program initiatives and events, using feedback and data to recommend and implement strategies for future enhancements. Gather feedback from event participants and stakeholders to assess project effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Conduct comprehensive market research and utilize data analytics tools such as SPSS to evaluate program effectiveness and gather actionable insights to provide insight.15% - Program Coordination:

Coordinate all logistical aspects of program, marketing and event planning, including registration processes, venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, transportation, and on-site event support. Handle inquiries about registrations, invoices and maintain accurate participant records. Procure, prepare and distribute event and/or workshop materials like workbooks, handouts, etc. Monitor event timelines. Maintain a comprehensive calendar of events, including scheduling reminders for key preparation milestones for LDI Team and LDI program participants.15% - Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for Leadership Development Institute (LDI) events and programs, ensuring clear communication to participants, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders involved. Monitor event timelines, ensure all deadlines are met, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance participant satisfaction. Assist in the maintenance and organization of client relationship management (CRM) databases. Outwardly represent LDI as a service leader to internal and external stakeholders.15% - Business Administration:

This position will coordinate as needed with College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) Office of Communications and CHSE Office of HR & Finance to perform marketing and business operations for LDI related to programs and events. Support LDI partners and coaches with hiring, compensation processes (HR requisitions, routing additional compensation) and onboarding processes as they relate to LDI's various events and projects. Route and monitor compensation requests for LDI partners and coaches upon completion of event services or fulfillment of contractual obligations.15% - Contract Management:

In coordination with the Assistant Director assist with contract proposal preparation, submission, routing, communication, invoicing and reconciliation of program and event expenses. Coordinate the preparation and communication of final data reports to close out contracts with partnering organizations and report and track contract benchmarks, deliverables all the way to completion.5%

- Other activities as assigned.Additional Information

Due to the Nature of the position and/or responsibilities, in times of emergencies and/or University closures, this position is considered essential. It may be required to assist the Office of Communications and University Relations on Necessary Communications Matters in times of crisis, including potentially working in LSU's Emergency Operations Center during those times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Strong experience in event planning and coordination, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of producing high-quality marketing materials and managing diverse communication platforms.Strong understanding on social media analytics and how to leverage best practices in social media marketing across various platforms.Demonstrated expertise in data collection, analysis, and the ability and/or willingness to learn how to use analytical tools such as Qualtrics and SPSS effectively.Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools like Adobe, Canva, etc.To be successful and content in this role, must be a collegial team player committed to learning, growth and development with a service-hearted approach and mindset.Experience in graphic design and content creation.
