Position Summary:

Leading global manufacturer and distributor of battery powered outdoor lawn & garden products, portable and stationary power equipment, sold through mass retailers, home improvement, e-tailers and independent industrial channels is seeking a Marketing Manager focusing on brand and product marketing.

This is a highly visible position reporting to the Director of Marketing. Must be adept in launching products from conception to production. This position will effectively manage and communicate the strategic commercialization plan and annual planning horizons to cross-functional teams including sales, product and finance. Responsibilities also include directing and managing internal creative and production teams along with third party vendors to ensure low costs and timely completion of projects.

Scope of Responsibilities:Evaluates market trends and competitive analysis to support marketing objectives.Manages the product marketing portfolio for each assigned category of products sold within consumer retail and e-commerce/online.Leads cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and timely completion of projects.Works with third-party vendors to ensure cost targets.Supports the Director of Marketing/VP of Marketing in product launches including branding, packaging, advertising, PR and digital media efforts.Thinks strategically and makes reasonable decisions based on thorough research and analysis. Responsible for market share development, to include identifying new market and product opportunities.Builds promotional strategies with pricing partners and merchants, based on strong understanding of customer value, economics, and competitive actions, and execute across channels.Transfers expert knowledge into practical solutions to be able to fulfill consumer and customer wishes in the best possible way.Working with product team, executes timely commercialization and communication plan on new product launches in their assigned category.Create, maintain, and disseminate product calendars to allow sales companies to do proper item setup.Performance & Success Measures:

Bachelor's Degree in MarketingMinimum of 3 years of CPG or retail marketing experience in launching brands and products from conception, production, and distribution within mass consumer retail, independent dealers and ecommerce markets.Home Improvement channel experience a plus.Past experience in consumer outdoor power equipment products a plus.MS Office productsTravel up to 20%
