Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for creating a vision for our greenworks brand marketing which includes an in store and online marketing strategy. This person will oversee the creation, implementation, and management of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness. This position will plan, organize, direct, control, and work cross functionally to provide the marketing leadership to achieve short-range and long-range business development objectives and KPIs. They will also need to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the marketing team, and across other departments and key stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan that supports the vision, mission, and growth of the organizationConducting market research, analyzing customer behavior, identifying target segments, defining value propositions, setting objectives and KPIs, allocating budgets and resources, and choosing the best mix of marketing channels and tacticsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing strategy and plan, and make adjustments as needed based on data, feedback, and budgetOversee the execution and performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives across various channels, such as digital, social, email, content, events, PR, and partnershipsResponsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns to promote products across all companyManage cross-functional teams in the design and execution of integrated marketing strategies and promotions to support multiple retail partner omni-channel strategies ensuring a consistent messageDirect internal and external efforts to measure and report resultsPresent yearly planning books working with senior management employees analyzing marketing plan and performance using KPI'sBuild a deep knowledge of our products, customers, competitors, and the markets in which we sellPrioritize allocation of marketing resources and budgetsDevelop and synthesize consumer insights and competitive intelligence to identify opportunitiesRequired Education and Experience:

Motivated self-starter with high positive energy levelBachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and ideally 10+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the home improvement industry. Lawn and Garden experience is a bonusDemonstrate a strong track record of successful email campaigns to drive sales growthExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both senior and junior staffStrong written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a lean, fast-paced environmentProficiency with MS Office tools and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) is required. Working knowledge of Salesforce, Traqline, Hubspot, and Survey Monkey is preferredThis position requires up to 20% business travelCompensation and Benefits:
