Direct Marketing Coordinator

This position will provide support to all campaign and platform initiatives, working within the Steelers' Marketing Department. This position is primarily responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of direct marketing aimed at creating and maintaining fan relationships and supporting the goals of each business line within the organization.**This is an on-site position - with a regular office business schedule.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Maintain calendar of all approved direct communications, prioritizing the content plan, advertising inventory, and execution of each category.Lead the day-to-day production of all email campaigns from initiation to completion, including strategy, HTML build, QA, deployment and reporting.Deliver personalized content and impactful journeys that drive fan engagement and loyalty.Lead the advancement of SMS and targeted push communications.Identify and implement testing strategies to improve conversation rates and optimize campaign results.Optimize existing campaigns and identify key content and create new campaigns, platform asset opportunities, etc.Leverage new and existing marketing platform(s) capabilities to implement automation to create work efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of marketing channels/platforms.Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and have a strong understanding of best practices/tools within direct marketing (email, SMS and push) and make necessary recommendations.Support relationships with various direct marketing and technology partners, including but not limited to Adobe, Epsilon, Movable Ink, Email on Acid, etc. to create opportunities for more effective and efficient email marketing.Partner with Business Analytics to identify, build and monitor relevant segments for each campaign, to increase engagement over time, prevent list fatigue and provide ROI.Collaborate with internal departments including the Campaigns, Events, Pro Shop, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Acrisure Stadium teams to ensure seamless implementation of campaign initiatives.Ensure email CAN-SPAM compliance, maintain a current knowledge of email and SMS legalities (i.e. CCPA, GDPR, etc.) as well as maintaining a high inbox placement rate.Drive and monitor email, SMS, subscription list growth YOY, and overall performance.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree required.2+ years of email marketing and/or direct marketing or related work experience.2+ years of email HTML code experience, as well as a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, A/B testing, and analyticsExperience working with dynamic email templates/content to handle multiple segmentsPrevious experience with ESP and marketing automation platforms a plus.Project management in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver knowledge a plusExcellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detailSports industry knowledge a plus
