The Events Marketing Manager will lead the marketing efforts for Deseret Book Company events nationally.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience

in creating marketing, strategic planning, and executing go-to-market strategies for events, with a primary focus on targeting members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as other Christian faiths.

The Events Marketing Manager is responsible for developing tailored strategies for each event, clearly communicating the value proposition to customers through various channels, and coordinating with the events production and social media teams, designers, and other marketing managers to meet all marketing needs. This role also includes reporting on sales and insights to guide future event marketing efforts. Deseret Book is a media and lifestyle company that caters to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Successful candidates need to have a deep understanding of the needs and culture of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have the ability to create and execute creative and strategic plans, collaborate effectively with others, provide and receive focused feedback, and expand event audiences.

This position is part of our fast-paced, friendly, creative, and inspiring marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

85% Marketing Strategy Creation and Implementation. Research and analyze market trends to develop effective B2C marketing strategies that will reach and motivate the target audience and grow our customer base. Execute those plans by working with channel managers, media buyers, and other team members in a collaborative and cooperative environment. Analyze KPIs, including ticket sale performance, engagement, and audience/customer base, and adjust accordingly.

15% Team Management. Manage and oversee the marketing coordinator responsible for events communication for Magnify, Deseret Book Presents, and associated brands. Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Infuse innovative marketing practices to enhance customer experience and engagement, while expanding customer base and driving sales growth.
