Job Summary

We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and drive our social media presence. In this role you'll conceptualize and produce engaging image and video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, tailored to each platform's unique audience. You will schedule and publish posts, collaborating closely with our marketing and video teams.

As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll monitor audience engagement, respond to inquiries and comments, and prepare regular reports on key data points. You'll analyze performance metrics to provide insights and act on those insights to improve results.

An ideal candidate has excellent storytelling skills, a strong understanding of audience targeting, a history of creating engaging social media posts, can thrive in a fluid environment, and knows a little bit about music gear. Experience with video and photography is a plus but not required. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences! ResponsibilitiesConceptualize and produce engaging image and video content for social media channels, tailored to each platform's audience and best practicesSchedule and publish social media posts, including shoppable posts, via our social scheduling platforms (Sprout)Collaborate closely with marketing, video, and other relevant teams to ensure social media content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaign objectivesMonitor and respond to audience engagement and inquiriesPrepare and present regular reports on all key data points from all social channelsRegularly analyze social media performance metrics using Sprout and other analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvementStay up to date on social media trends and best practices for video content creationRequired Experience/Attributes

Proficiency in content creation and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTokExperience using social media management tools, specifically SproutExperience with shoppable postsExcellent storytelling, visual composition, and post-production skillsA strong understanding of audience targeting and engagement strategiesFoundational knowledge of music gear, most importantly, guitarsTop notch organization skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work in a fluid, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlinesSocial Media/Marketing experience within a retail business preferred but not requiredVideo and photography experience is a plus but not requiredAdditional Info and Benefits
