Job Duties and Responsibilities (Please note that this position will report to the Irvine, CA office and is not a remote position)
Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Affiliate Manager to join our Marketing team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing all Affiliate Marketing Channel activities such as vendor research and onboarding, vendor compliance, vendor management and partnerships, growth strategy, budgeting, forecasting, monthly buys, accruals, invoicing, and optimizations across your affiliate network products to drive lead volume across our campus and program offerings. Your focus is to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue across all IEC properties.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of lead buying, management of existing partners, including contracts, implementations, traffic quality and flow, campaigns, performance analysis to achieve the associated ROI and Marketing KPI Goals
Research, identify, and grow new affiliate partnerships and campaigns with quality and scale to expand our reach and support key initiatives as needed
Provide data-driven performance feedback and actionable insights both internally to regionals, and externally to affiliate partners to drive Cost per Start efficiencies, maintaining regular partner meetings
Monitor admissions staff conversion to ensure the quality of leads generated and campus level admissions results meet expectations
Dig into channel data to drive testing, optimization and analysis to identify key levers and opportunities for improvements
Operationalize campaigns by defining program objectives, tactics, targeting, KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and prioritization of initiatives
Ensure that monthly accrual process are compiled correctly and accurately
Monitor and report on portfolio pacing weekly and performance monthly
Develop reporting and insight capabilities and processes to effectively assess progress and opportunities
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Key Success Factors
The successful candidate will be accountable for overall affiliate channel performance and lead generation volume for IEC's brands, regions, campuses, and programs
Key Performance Metrics include: Volume of leads, CPL, LER, CPS
Dynamic self-starter, great problem solving skills, and drive to continually improve
Effective communicator who excels at cross-functional collaboration
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and good follow-through
Commitment to quality, compliance, efficacy and accountability
Demonstrate a proven track record of success with performance based, direct response marketing programs and upward mobility in key areas of responsibility
Education, Experience, and Skillset
3+ years of experience with Affiliate Management and Digital Marketing
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent business experience
Ability to manage and understand all methods to assess marketing and business goals
A clear understanding of affiliate tracking models, tools, and platforms
Understanding of web-based and/or mobile technology
Data-driven, analytical and highly experienced with Excel
Previous online media buying experience preferred
Experience with API based platforms, integrations, ping-post, lead generation platforms
Excellent communication and organizational skills
