The Organizational Communications Manager will be responsible for the planning, writing and execution of communication programs and internal campaigns aligned with the company's imperatives and strategic initiatives. Under the direction of the Organizational Communications Senior Manager, this person will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all internal communications are effectively reaching and connecting team members across the country to the organization's mission, strategy, culture and operating principles.

Responsibilities

Develop, write and execute internal communication plans, tactics and strategies supporting the company's overall business objectives and culture.Develop and implement internal communication programs, initiatives and campaigns, across multimedia and print channels using advanced tools and platforms to elevate communications standards and best practices.Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall company objectives. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, minimize communication clutter, and enhance operational efficiencies.Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment of internal and external communications in support of both PR and internal communications strategies.Provide occasional PR and external communications support as needed.Report metrics when available to measure the effectiveness and value of internal communication efforts. Adjust strategies as necessary.Partner with key stakeholders to inform, educate, and motivate the workforce, improving retention and engagement through strategic communications.Project manage and lead the internal PDS magazine production including editorial strategy and theme creation, writing feature articles, providing art and creative direction.Maintain and provide editorial and graphic guidance for PDS intranet related to communications channel segments and respective pages.Manage and coordinate photography, videography, including script writing, print collateral marketing materials and occasional promotional deliverables.Ensure that internal communications comply with legal and regulatory requirements.Manage communications vendors and resources, such as contractors and freelancers, and provide guidance and accountability for deliverables.Act as back-up to communications team for daily communication channel.Support occasional visual communications efforts such as scenography and digital signage.Develop occasional newsletters, talking points, FAQs and other supporting documentation aligned with communications best practices.Perform other duties as assigned.Required

5+ years related experience in a similar environment within communications, journalism or marketing and 1-3 years of experience in supervising.Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience is required.Digital and print magazine production and distribution experience and knowledge is essential.Preferred

Previous experience in dental/retail/healthcare industry.Graphic design skills and fluency with Adobe Creative Suites, Canva or similar tools a plus.Demonstrated project management experience.Master's degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Video, photo and podcast recording and editing.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills; places a premium on attention to detaiEstablished track record of delivering impactful, content rich internal communications programs across multiple channels and partners with demonstrable measures of success.Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite fluency or mastery.Technical experience with digital communications apps, tools and platforms.Advanced internal communications skills with high level of personal accountability.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization.Associated Press style mastery.Experience managing vendors including communications/PR agencies, video production agencies and freelancers.Knowledge of current best practices in internal communications.Project management and multi-tasking skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute multi-platform communications strategies and tacticsMastery of internal customer service skills.Benefits
