LPA is seeking a passionate

Interior Designer

to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our Education studio is committed to creating engaging environments that put 21st century skills at the center of learning. We have completed projects such as Environmental Nature Center Preschool, Tarbut V'Torah and Eastvale STEM Academy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house multidisciplinary teams including engineering, landscape and interiors. We work primarily on education projects Southern California.

What you will do:

Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPAYou will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the projectAssist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of project-specific assignments and take the initiative to follow through.Prepare documentation for programming, schematic design, design development and/or construction documents as assigned by the Design Coordinator and/or Project Leader.Assist in the development of all forms of communication, written and pictorial, to clients and review agencies regarding project development, both aesthetic and technical.Assist in the research as directed for product and construction methods related to a project, including sustainable criteria.Review and process submittals and RFIs during construction phases and attend construction meetings and field visits as appropriate for the project scope and schedule.Create design and/or technical graphic presentations alongside project teams, including material samples.Participate (and lead on smaller projects) in the integrated design process, working with other disciplines inside and out of LPA on design, project coordination, technical documentation and execution, and problem solving through all phases of a project.Perform and initiate other project-related tasks as approved or assigned by the team leaders, including other discipline leaders.What we will do:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture required3+ years of experience in all phases of interior architecture projectsActively pursuing CID (or already certified) and LEED accreditationProficiency in Revit. Good knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferredKnowledge of building codes, related regulations, construction materials and specifications preferredDemonstrate independence, innovation, and vision with program, project design and implementationCommitment to pursue high quality construction documents

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $78,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
