Junior Designer - (Packaging, Fashion Accessories, Home Décor, and Gift Designe

CultureFly is looking for a talented and innovative packaging, fashion accessories, home décor, and gift designer to join our seasonal design department. Job responsibilities include concepting and designing products with packaging for a wide variety of seasonal holidays. Working with a team of designers and illustrators, this job entails day-to-day product research, brainstorming, ideation, and implementation. This includes designing original products with specs, and assisting with any other art and design-related duties as they arise.Requirements:Experienced designer with knowledge of packaging, fashion and trend design development.Experience with designing home goods, accessories, or toysCreating trend boards each season, designing trends, executing designs, packaging, and tech packs.Self-starting, motivated, forward-thinking, detailed oriented, and a team player.Great at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Skilled ability in using Adobe Creative Cloud (focusing on Photoshop & Illustrator)Excellent communication skills.Work with sales and production teams to execute concepts into actual products.Responsibilities:Conceptualizing and designing home goods & accessoriesMonthly store shopping, in depth knowledge of retail (Walmart experience is a plus)Ideating & developing creative and trend forward packagingPrepare mockups of samples with packaging for presentations.Preparing Tech PacksCheck samples for color, quality, layout, and design for fabric and packaging.Coordinate and communicate with overseas factories on all projects-Submitting & approving.Experience:3+ years of work experience as a graphic designer, production artist, or similarPackaging design a plusRetail/fashion design experience a plusLicensing design experience a plus
