We are currently seeking an

Interior Designer III

in our

Asset Strategy

practice. Candidates experienced with corporate design, conceptual design, and strong Revit skills & presentation skills are preferred. The Interior Designer III role is responsible for developing, organizing and executing the conceptual design of a project as well as utilizing creativity, foresight and judgment to meet project requirements and objectives through project completion.

Selected Knowledge & Skills include (but not limited to):

Proficiency in Revit is requiredProficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural DesktopProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and OutlookProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferredAbility to manage, mentor and delegate to Interns, Designer I and II as needed to complete drawings, documents, etc.Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness; consistently share such knowledge with Teammates.Advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color and materials to carryout design intent.Advanced Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.Knowledge of building codes and regulations, life safety codes and ADA requirements.Knowledge of the construction process from bidding through construction administration, roles of consultants, contractors, construction schedules, phasing, inspections, etc.Ability to work in a team environmentKnowledge of project deadlinesKnowledge of expectations related to high quality service to clientsAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingPossess basic hand and CAD drafting skillsPossess space planning skills and interest in programmingBasic proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite skills preferredBasic proficiency of 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006 preferredEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Conduct field surveys as required; Field surveys must be easy to read and thorough.Assist in preparation of drawings for all design phases.Update design documents as needed for all levels of designers.Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.Build models for client/project team review.Provide research and compile data during design phases.Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.Participate in design charrettes and project team meetings.Participate in client meetings as directed.Participate in the construction process as requested (site visits, punch lists, submittals, shop drawing review, etc.).Attend “lunch and learn” events and other vendor presentations on an ongoing basis.Complete timesheet daily and expense reports accurately and on-time.Embrace specific steps to create, develop and promote a diverse workforce and to promote an inclusive environmentAssist in the programming phases as directed.Assist with the schematic phases as directed (sketching, input of sketches, modification of schematic test fit plans, etc.).Possess basic knowledge of project budget and schedules as well as understands responsibility to adhere to set parameters.Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited University PLUS:5+ years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience working in the field of Architecture.

National salary average (regional cost of living factors are considered into the hiring process): $70,000 – $95,000,plus bonuses and benefits; contingent on relevant experience.
