Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Head of Military Marketing located in Englewood CO or Austin TX. This role is dependent on proven experience selling into Military or DoD markets. This position is responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies within our high-profile Military Aviation business and will lead marketing activities focused on our prestige product line brands, Jeppesen and ForeFlight. You will be responsible for the development of marketing plans that generate market excitement, showcase customer value and generate pipeline in the military aviation market. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in marketing, SaaS software experience and a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of military markets.

Position Responsibilities:

Own and lead the development and coordination of the Military Aviation marketing efforts by coordinating across product management, product marketing, sales, content strategy and growth marketing.

Strong influencer and collaborator that can manage complex relationships across the different functions.

Effective team leader with expert time management and executive presentation skills

Build effective stakeholder relationships across sales, product marketing, customer success and partners to launch an integrated, prioritized, military marketing strategy.

Own and lead go-to-market program strategy for military aviation solutions that include uniform messaging/positioning and strategic plans for advancement through each stage of the marketing funnel.

Expand share of wallet within existing military customers.

Source net-new pipeline opportunities for Sales.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options in Englewood CO or Austin TX. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience in military, selling into military, Federal or DoD markets.

Minimum of (7) years of experience in B2B/B2G demand generation and lead management.

Experience with lead management strategies.

Experience building targeted, complex, multi-channel campaign strategies that result in pipeline.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking,

Significant product marketing experience including proven experience in enterprise software marketing, SaaS

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles

High degree of empathy for others’ perspectives and circumstances

Prior military aviation experience

Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, notably Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and 6sense.

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $187,000.00-$253,000.00.
