Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Data Management Specialist manages student information systems, enrollment processes and serves as the lead for all data compliance and data needs within the organization. The Educational Data, Media and Technology Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing essential support for student data management, enrollment/registration, state and federal data systems including CALPADS, SECMS, and SEIS. Inputs and analyzes data necessary for state reports such as SARC, LCAP, and other reports as needed. within special education systems, specifically focusing on CALPADS and iTAAP. This position demands a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and proficiency in utilizing California state data systems like CALPADS, CBEDS, and SECMS. The role involves managing reporting timelines and associated functions, necessitating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This position also oversees and/or creates school data systems required for monitoring and tracking classroom, technology, textbooks and library materials. Responsible for tracking, ordering and maintaining appropriate licensing for educational software, textbooks and other curriculum needs. Provides general clerical support to assist office staff as needed.
