The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and driving all marketing communications materials for ORT. Working closely with product marketing colleagues in ORT and our regional sales organizations, this role will develop a wide range of marketing and PR materials that drive customer interest and excitement around ORT’s fixed and mobile robotic solutions.This role will also assist in the development of digital content and tools including website, social media, and digital advertising strategies.You will be an important change agent for the business, helping to raise the visibility of ORT’s robotics solutions with channel partners and end users around the world.

Establish compelling and creative marketing communication campaigns.Deliver marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels, including print media, web, social media, email, and other digital channels, including mobileLead the design and development of marketing content including brochures, application videos, promotional presentations, white papers, infographics, etc.Define and manage the work of 3rd-party vendors as appropriate to execute on key initiatives, including advertising campaigns and website development.Build content suitable for use by global sales regions, coordinating ORT efforts with OMRON global and regional campaigns.Leverage data analytics, market trends, competitive analysis, and best practices to optimize ORT’s marketing spend and improve market-facing communication.Structure and build ORT’s social media presence, driving regular, value-added communication to system integrators and end users.Lead and organize ORT’s presence at key industry trade shows in the Americas region.Gauge the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, spotting growth opportunities, pinpointing improvement areas, and suggesting alternatives.Track the success of our marketing and promotional initiatives, generating reports on KPIs such as conversion rates, site performance, traffic trends, user behavior, and customer satisfaction.Job Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing and content communicationsProven experience developing and delivering compelling marketing campaignsPrior robotics or automation experience is preferred but not requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, or related fieldDemonstrated passion for marketing and communications!Ability to quickly connect and communicate with stakeholders inside and outside Omron, including end users, channel partners, and the global sales organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Knowledge of industry and domain best practice, including website and analytics toolsPrior experience or clear aptitude for understanding and conveying the benefits of technical products that include discrete hardware and software components

The annual salary range for this role in California is $80,000 - $115,000 a year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
