Seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join the Bethesda, MD Offices. The Marketing & Business Development Manager will play an instrumental role in helping manage and grow an array of crucial projects. This individual will help lead the firm's deal sourcing and origination efforts, develop marketing materials, schedule and coordinate conference/marketing trips, and manage/monitor the firm's deal sourcing CRM system (DealCloud).In Office 4x a week, Mon-ThursSalary $110-130k+In addition to their primary responsibilities, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will also have significant involvement in other functional areas of the firm and will play a key role in activities related to investor relations, event planning, external marketing, and recruiting.Strong candidates will be well-organized and possess a keen attention to detail. A proactive and responsive self-starter would thrive in this role. Candidates with a proven ability to organize data for analysis and extract actionable insights will stand out. Familiarity with private equity, investment banking, or other areas of finance is preferred, but is not required. Those with backgrounds in event planning, marketing, scheduling, fundraising, database management, and other similar fields are encouraged to apply.The position will report to the Director of Business Development and the Chief Financial Officer but experience significant firm-wide exposure.Job ResponsibilitiesActively monitor private equity market activity for relevant investment opportunities.Manage the tracking of deal origination and other marketing related activity in CRM system (DealCloud)Design and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reporting and goalsSupport team members by prioritizing and arranging business development calls and marketing meetingsResearch and track potential deal sources and coordinate marketing outreach effortsDevelop marketing collateral (pitch decks, press releases, website updates, LinkedIn posts, etc.)Contribute to the planning and execution of the firm's annual investor meeting and team offsite meetingAssist with the firm's corporate responsibility efforts (e.g., coordinating volunteer events)QualificationsUndergraduate degree from a college or university and a strong GPAExperience with CRM platforms (DealCloud preferred, but not required)Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (and with PowerPoint in particular)Experience drafting and issuing press releases and other marketing materialsExceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask while meeting deadlinesSelf-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitudeFamiliarity with data cleansing and analysis tools preferred but not required
