Our client, a growing, respected and successful middle-market Private Equity/Asset Management firm, is expanding its corporate team. The executives and stakeholders are seeking a motivated, diversely skilled professional to join its nimble, sharp and supportive corporate team.

The

Marketing & Business Development Manager

will play an instrumental role in helping manage and grow an array of crucial projects. This individual will help lead the firm's deal sourcing and origination efforts, develop marketing materials, schedule and coordinate conference/marketing trips, and manage/monitor the firm's deal sourcing CRM system. In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will also have significant involvement in other functional areas of the firm and will play a key role in activities related to investor relations, event planning, external marketing, and recruiting.

The position will report to and partner along side the Director of Business Development while dually partnering with the Chief Financial Officer (but be comfortable experiencing significant firm-wide exposure!).

Opportunity detail:Actively monitor private equity market activity for relevant investment opportunities.Manage the tracking of deal origination and other marketing related activity in CRM system (DealCloud)Design and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reporting and goalsSupport team members by prioritizing and arranging business development calls and marketing meetingsResearch and track potential deal sources and coordinate marketing outreach effortsDevelop marketing collateral (pitch decks, press releases, website updates, LinkedIn posts, etc.)Contribute to the planning and execution of the firm's annual investor meeting and team offsite meetingAssist with the firm's corporate responsibility efforts (e.g., coordinating volunteer events)Experience & Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree requiredEvent Planning, Marketing, Scheduling, Fundraising, DB Management, Corporate Administration and miscellaneous corporate "ad-hoc" projects will be part of the role, so experience in these areas are preferredPE, VC, Investment Banking or other related industries is preferredExperience drafting and issuing press releases and other marketing materialsKnowledge of CRM platforms required (DealCloud)Familiarity with data cleansing and analysis tools preferred but not requiredProficiency with the MS Office SuitePowerPoint proficiency is requiredShould offer exceptional attention-to-detail and ability to multitask while meeting deadlinesIdeally, a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitudeShould come with a proactive, well-organized, detailed and responsive mindset
