Design Assistant

This is a work to hire or permanent full-time role for a candidate who can work in a fast paced, high volume, fashion environment while maintaining accuracy.Responsibilities:Assist with creating sketches, CAD's, Tech Packs, construction details pagesCreate and keep visual line sheets (W.I.P) and design boards accurate and up to date based off fittings and design meetingsAttend all fittings and keep detailed notes for design updatesAssist in all meeting preparationsHelp maintain sample, technique, strike off's organization for designOrganize design samples for all photo sessionsWork closely with cross functional partnersAdhere to time and calendarAbility to follow through with tasksOther duties to follow through on tasks assignedRequirements:Ability to sketch and CAD design details and knowledge of garment construction as needed by designerAbility to communicate silhouettes and detailed garment construction through CAD and tech packsProficiency with MS Office, Google Docs, Illustrator, and PhotoshopPossess strong organization and communication skillsAbility to perform in a fast paced environmentAbility to partner with cross-functional partnersQualifications:Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, MS-Excel, Goggle Docs, KeynoteProficient with PLMA.I knowledge is a plus
