We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Marketing to join our dynamic team and expand our market presence.As the Director of Marketing for our center console fishing boat manufacturing company, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, increase sales and solidify our position as a leader in the industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, including branding, advertising, promotions, digital marketing, product launches and market research.Responsibilities1. Develop Marketing Strategy: Create a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. This includes identifying target markets, assessing competitive landscapes and determining the most effective channels to reach our audience.2. Brand Management: Manage and enhance the company's brand image and identity. Ensure consistency across all marketing materials, including website, social media, advertising and promotional materials.3. Advertising and Promotion: Oversee the development and implementation of advertising campaigns across various platforms, including print, digital and social media. Collaborate with advertising agencies and media partners to optimize campaign performance and ROI.4. Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, including coordinating with cross-functional teams such as product development, sales and manufacturing. Develop marketing materials and strategies to support new product introductions.5. Digital Marketing: Drive the company's digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing and social media marketing. Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies to continuously improve our online presence and effectiveness.6. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences and insights. Use data-driven analysis to inform marketing strategies and tactics, and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of marketing initiatives.7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI. Monitor expenses and performance against budgetary goals, making adjustments as needed to optimize spending.8. Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Set clear goals and expectations and empower team members to achieve excellence in their respective roles.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.- Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the marine or outdoor recreation industry.- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing plans.- Demonstrated expertise in brand management, advertising, digital marketing and product launches.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving measurable impact and achieving business objectives.
