Join an engaging and dynamic marketing team as our Digital Multimedia Marketing Specialist.What You'll DoThis is a full-time, hourly, professional position located in the Visit Vacaville Visitors' Office. Under direction from the President & CEO, you will implement content for the Visit Vacaville website, blog, YouTube channel, digital newsletters, and ads. Leading digital projects in accordance to Visit Vacaville marketing and communications plans, the Digital Multimedia Marketing Specialist is responsible for proactively managing day-to-day activities on the organization's website- working closely with website hosting agency reps and owning SEO initiatives. This role is responsible for creating regular electronic newsletters, involving copyediting and media editing of photos, graphics, video assets, and weekly/monthly/seasonal reporting on metrics.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a motivated and talented contributor who can function as both a content creator and digital marketer. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with expert editing skills in an array of media formats. They are passionate about digital marketing strategy and enjoy digging into metrics. A resourceful, self-directed person able to work independently and manage time effectively with attention to details. Experience with SEO copywriting, email marketing, audio and film editing, running digital marketing ads, and utilizing Google Analytics will make for a great fit.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate content creation, (namely website copy, newsletters, targeted emails, and reels), to appeal to diverse population groups and niche demographics depending on project or campaign.Media editing and sharing. Ability to tee-up/feed content to colleagues and marketing partners.Oversee the daily management of, and updates to, the Visit Vacaville website, including online content calendars, digital guides, blog, business profiles, etc. with occasional knowledge/use of HTML.Copyedit and proofread digital content, providing final recommendations for approval when required.Identify emerging website needs, developing, and implementing appropriate strategies to assess them.Work within Visit Vacaville's Google Analytics and Google Ads, managing and reporting on various Visit Vacaville campaigns and Google ads performance.Track, review, and share monthly campaign and website activities, producing insightful reports as required, utilizing consumer, data-driven, insights to enable effective marketing strategies.Apply and uphold brand guidelines in regular marketing decisions, maintaining consistent brand voice, and look and feel in Visit Vacaville's digital presence.Own and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to conduct partner outreach when needed.Support other Visit Vacaville team members to enhance marketing efforts, visitor amenities, community participation, information sharing, and social media.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, outside agencies, and partners, working collaboratively.Be incredibly hospitable and helpful to visitor center guests.Serve as a Visit Vacaville representative at notable local events and functions, attending and participating in Visit Vacaville programming when required.Direct any coordinators, interns, and/or volunteers assigned to digital marketing projects.Occasional local and regional travel.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
