Join Collibra's User Experience Design Team:

We are seeking an experienced Senior User Experience Designer to join our team, focusing on designing intuitive and innovative user experiences for a complex data application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design principles, a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into user-friendly interfaces. Specifically, you'll be joining a growing product organization working on our enterprise SaaS platform and will help the team ensure that it aligns to our global design patterns and meets both user and business needs. You will ensure user/customer input is gathered, statistically analyzed and used in a manner that facilitates product and software improvement.As a Senior Product Designer on the design team you are responsible for:Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly illustrate functionality and user interaction.Designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our complex data application.Conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.Analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to inform design decisions.Aligning your work with user personas, and creating journey maps to guide design processes.Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and then Iterating on designs based on user feedback and test results.Working closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented accurately.Communicating design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders effectively.Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.Contributing to the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across the application.Staying updated with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies to incorporate best practices into the design process.Demonstrating mastery of Collibra's primary UX tools and methodologies.Providing subject matter expertise across a wide variety of UX approaches, patterns and implementation styles.Mentoring new and less experienced team members.Articulating customer needs and the Collibra differentiation across assigned platform areas and with the platform as a whole.Actively pushing back on over-designed solutions and advocates for improving under-implemented solutions.Helping teammates overcome roadblocks and resolve inter/intra-team conflict.You Have:Demonstrated understanding of UX design and are delivering valuable, tangible designsA solid understanding of the development process we employ (Agile, Scrum, Kanban). You contribute to the agile methodology while practicing user-centered design.Proficiency in Figma and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)A increased understanding of development paradigms/principles; knowledge of how data ingestion/usage impacts UX5+ years UX/UI, HCI (aka product design) experienceA portfolio of projects showing high quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web and desktop applicationsYou Are:Able to work with a wide variety of UX approaches, patterns, and implementation stylesAble to leverage, contribute, and/or influence design system components and visual styles.Familiar with driving techniques for improving UX efficiency in order to deliver customer value as quickly as possibleProactive in identify the need for and are capable of leading/facilitating workshopsExperienced at balancing user needs, company strategy, and technical constraints when making decisionsMeasuring Success:

Reporting to Collibra's Director of Product Design, measures of success are:Month 1: Deep dive into onboarding, understanding our products, and getting to know the teamMonth 2: Begin contributing to active projects by developing wireframes and prototypes for new features or improvements.Month 3: Finalize high-fidelity mockups and detailed design specifications for implementation.Benefits at Collibra
