The Social Media Coordinator will develop, execute and leverage mobile and social media efforts to grow market share and expand brand awareness.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing overall support for Internet Marketing initiatives, such as but not limited to research, strategy and implementation of emerging forms of digital media and social media.Helps build and maintain all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat as well as, new/emerging platforms.Helps with planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, content calendars, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to target audience.Attends events and promotions to gather content for social channels.Supports the greater marking Department through copy writing, photography, interviews and other related activities.Develop, execute and leverage mobile and social media efforts to grow market share and expand brand awareness.Understands current trends, technologies and advancements in social, mobile and online review sites.Assist with measurement and evaluation of social and mobile program success.Support advertising team to ensure alignment between digital and traditional media communications.Monitor online reviews on sites such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, Online Travel Agency sites, etc.Maintain up-to-date web content.Essential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentMust be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areasMust be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hoursMust be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Two – Three years working experience in site content management, online marketing and social media marketing in a B2C capacity.
