Coordinate, plan and implement marketing events, programs, and activities.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and implement promotions, special events and programs.Coordinate and schedule marketing materials based on deadlines.Exercise prudent judgment in all decisions concerning Marketing responsibilities.Process marketing department invoices with Excel spreadsheets and coordinate payment, record keeping and grant reimbursement.Responsible for bidding and purchasing marketing items.Deliver and pick up print materials from area businesses.Prepare copy materials for monthly newsletter.Serve as liaison with advertising agency, direct mail house, and other entities for production of various projects.Utilize database management skills for various promotional activities.Coordinate with various departments concerning promotions and other marketing activities.Facilitate the meeting of all deadlines pertaining to production and implementation of direct mail, promotions, and other special events.Coordinate the distribution of various coupons and comps while maintaining accurate record-keeping.Prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Work within tight deadlines frequentlyPerform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.Role model the skills of customer service and interact positively through relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people’s needs.Greet customers positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.Demonstrate skill in dealing with customer complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the customer’s goodwill.Understand the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.Local travel as deemed necessary.Complete other duties as assigned.REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.Obtain and retain required license(s).Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED required.· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience required.

One-year related marketing experience required.Virginia Racing Commission License required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Virginia Racing Commission License

Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
