The Director of Brand Marketing reports to the VP of MarketingJob Overview

The Director of Brand Marketing will play an integral role in leading a comprehensive brand strategy that ensures all marketing efforts align with the Company's goals and values. He/She will possess a deep knowledge of the Mizzen+Main brand and core customer and will be responsible for utilizing that knowledge to guide the strategy for PR, Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Brand and Athlete Partnerships, Wholesale and Retail Marketing, and Events. This role will be crucial in championing the brand across the organization, serving as a strong cross functional leader. We are looking for someone with a roll up their sleeves mentality who is excited to apply their robust experience to grow the Mizzen+Main brand. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, Texas, on the marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing.Responsibilities and Duties

Guide strategy, budget and execution of all brand events, ensuring appropriate goals are established and met.Set strategy for Retail and Wholesale marketing efforts, partner with channel owners to understand goals and ensuring successful executionDetermine key brand performance metrics, monitor and analyze ROI of efforts and adjust strategy where needed to maximize results.Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.Develop and manage budget and spend for all brand related initiatives.Guide social media and content marketing strategies to engage with target audience.Lead influencer and affiliate marketing efforts, ensuring chosen partners are brand right and high performing.Manage relationship with PR agency, ensuring key initiatives are being prioritized and amplified locally and nationally.Oversee the partnership with our sports media agency alongside the current team, ensuring on brand athlete partnerships are appropriately amplified across marketing channels.Own and maintain go-to-market calendar and ensure company and partner visibility into key brand initiatives.Build and maintain strong cross functional collaboration across the organization to align key initiatives to brand strategy and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels.Encourage an environment of curiosity and creativity within the team where big ideas can come to life.Act as a strong team leader, identifying strengths and opportunities of each team member and facilitating regular professional development.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field.7-10 years of experience in related role.Experience working with PR agencies and influencers.Success developing and managing brand partnerships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Out of the box thinker who will bring new ideas to the table.Strong cross functional leader and collaborator.What You Will Love About Working at Mizzen+Main.
