JOB TITLE: MTSS Coordinator and Grant Writer

PAY SCALE: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications

LOCATION: District Administration

EMPLOYMENT TERM: 24-25 School Year - Daily hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

SALARY RAGE: $88,035 - $112,323 Annually

REPORTS TO: Associate Superintendent of School Improvement

OVERVIEW:

The MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator and Grant Writer is responsible for coordinating and implementing the MTSS framework within the district, writing and managing grants, and overseeing the consolidated application process. This role ensures that all students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support they need to succeed while securing and managing funding to support these initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

MTSS Coordination:Develop and implement the district-wide MTSS framework, ensuring alignment with state and federal guidelines.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and monitor interventions and support strategies.Provide training and professional development on MTSS practices and procedures.Use data to assess the effectiveness of MTSS interventions and make recommendations for improvement.Facilitate MTSS meetings and ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved in the process.Point of contact for project-aware grantData collection for Academics and Behavior (TFI) -Familiarity with SWIS and Data platforms PreferredGrant Writing and Management:

Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the district's goals and priorities.Write and submit grant proposals to secure funding for district initiatives and programs.Manage awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all requirements and timely submission of reports.Maintain accurate records of grant activities, budgets, and outcomes.Familiar with GEMS/Nexsys PreferredConsolidated Application Management:

Coordinate the development and submission of the district's consolidated application.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to the consolidated application.Collaborate with district leaders to gather necessary data and input for the application.Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of programs funded through the consolidated application.Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, community organizations, and funding agencies.Communicate effectively about MTSS processes, grant opportunities, and consolidated application updates.Provide regular updates and reports to district leadership on the status of MTSS implementation, grants, and the consolidated application.QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in education, special education, social work, or a related field (Master's preferred).Experience with MTSS implementation and coordination in a school setting.Proven success in writing and managing grants.Knowledge of state and federal education funding and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
