About FACE

Faith and Community Empowerment (FACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving as a bridge between the Asian-American community and the broader society by fostering private and public collaborations, enhancing the capacities of faith-based organizations, increasing access to resources, and supporting low-income individuals and neighborhood revitalization. Established in 2001, FACE has built a network of over 1000 partners, including collaborations with the White House and Fortune 500 companies.

Mission

Our mission is to advance the participation, contribution, and influence of the Asian American community through faith and community partnerships.

Position Overview

FACE is seeking a full-time Marketing and Program Coordinator. This hybrid position combines responsibilities for marketing, advertising, promotion, and program coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitask team environment. The Marketing and Program Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Operations and work closely with the program and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Promotion (50%)

Advertising Campaigns: Develop and implement advertising and promotional campaigns for various programs and events.

Content Creation: Create digital and physical marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media content, and newsletters.

Social Media Management: Manage FACE's social media platforms, creating engaging content and monitoring interactions.

Event Promotion: Promote FACE events through various channels, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance.

Brand Management: Ensure consistency in FACE's branding and messaging across all marketing materials.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.

SEO and Analytics: Optimize digital content for search engines (SEO) and monitor website and campaign analytics to measure effectiveness.

Partnership Development: Develop and maintain partnerships with media outlets and influencers to enhance marketing reach.

Program Coordination (50%)

Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual events, including workshops, seminars, and community outreach activities.

Client Services: Provide a full range of client services, including financial education, home buying assistance, and foreclosure prevention.

Documentation: Gather and evaluate documentation needed to assess clients' eligibility for various programs.

Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.

Reporting: Assist in gathering data and preparing grant reports for funders.

Training and Workshops: Conduct group education sessions on topics such as financial literacy, home buying, and foreclosure prevention.

Database Management: Maintain accurate records in the Client Management System (Mpact Pro) and manage client documents in ShareFile.

Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support program activities.

Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and management for marketing campaigns and events.

Impact Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and events through surveys and feedback to inform future improvements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, program coordination, or a related field.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Excel) and Canva (or the ability to learn new software quickly).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration.

Ability to manage shifting demands and perform duties of a similar nature or level as required.

High degree of attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Problem-solving skills and punctuality.

Preferred: Experience in non-profit, government, or community development organizations.

Preferred: Bilingual in English/Korean or English/Spanish.

Working Conditions

Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Must be able to travel for meetings, conferences, and site visits.

Requires frequent use of computers and the ability to review detailed documents.

Physical ability to lift and move up to 25-30 pounds.

Travel: Must be able to travel to events and community meetings. Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
