Please include it when you submit your resume.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Junior Designer will be responsible for both licensed and non-licensed product development.RESPONSIBILITIESShop and research new concepts, market trends and techniques to implement into new product graphic designCreate pop-culture license designs by utilizing the assets and directions provided by brand partnersCreates final designs that are production-friendlyMaintains his/her design tasks in the PLM systemContributes to seasonal developmentCollaborates with designers in other divisions for cross-category projectsParticipates in design meetings for aligning and preparing contentQUALIFICATIONSThorough knowledge/intermediate mastery of design skills in concept development requiredA strong understanding of the fan-based consumer market requiredMust be organized, responsible, deadline-drivenMust be adaptable and able to multi-task to meet the demands of a fast-paced environmentHas excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information to leadershipIs a proactive thinker in strategy, problem-solving and time managementEnjoys being a part of a team and willing to help others/contribute to team effortCan take design criticism and demonstrates willingness to improve his/her workREQUIREMENTSAt least 1+ years of relevant experience in design/manufacturingDegree in Apparel, Fine Arts, or related field (or working towards)Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
