Summary:

The SEM Campaign Manager is responsible for the strategy, creation, and optimization of our paid search accounts. This position will manage the full life cycle of the campaign, from conception and defining objectives to execution, budget pacing, conversion tracking, and reporting. As part of our Search team, you will create new campaigns, conduct bid management and On-going optimization in support of advertiser goals. Confidence, accountability, and action-oriented attitude and habits are keys to success.

What you will do:Creating and managing a book of paid search campaigns (PPC, Display, Mobile, Microsoft, Google Ads) across a variety of industries and utilizing various internal web-based systemsAnalyzing campaign performance using a variety of programs including Google Analytics and Adtaxi's proprietary toolsKeyword research and expansion, ad copy creation, competitive benchmarking, bid management and budget pacing of accountsProvide proactive and strategic campaign recommendations on a regular basisImplementing advanced campaign additions including Pmax, dynamic remarketing, YouTube advertising, shopping campaigns, advanced bidding strategies and Conversion TrackingWork closely with other departments in the company and vendors to ensure a successful campaign and holistic experience for our clientsQA campaigns before launchingAssess landing pages used in search engine marketing campaignsCreate campaign reportsMonitoring of new trends in Search and making recommendations to client-facing staffWhat you will bring:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience3-5 years managing campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Analytics certification preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detailExtensive knowledge of Google Analytics or other third party analytics and optimization toolsAbility to multi-task and work within firm deadlinesAbility to interact with all levels of the organizationPrior experience with PPC and SEO management platformsProficiency in Excel and strong quantitative skillsAgency experience or experience working with multiple direct response advertiser accountsBasic HTML and CSS knowledge, and experience with tag managers is a plus

The annual salary range is $60,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. This role is eligible for a bonus based on performance. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
