About the Marketing Sales Consultant:

MarketStar is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Sales Consultant to join our our team and drive growth for our client. The ISR will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, nurturing and closing new sales deals through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies. Your target customers will be small and medium businesses that have not yet adopted our client's talent solutions.

Location: Hybrid - Salt Lake City, UT

What Will You Do?

Engage with Warm Leads: Contact and engage with pre-qualified leads provided by our Sales Development Team through phone calls, emails, and video calls.

Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and positioning our solutions effectively.

Conduct Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of each lead.

Manage Sales Pipeline: Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline using our CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate documentation.

Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by converting warm leads into paying customers.

Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Sales Development Team to ensure a seamless handoff of leads and provide feedback to improve lead quality.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and best sales practices to continuously improve sales effectiveness.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

Successful track record in previous sales roles; B2B and/or direct sales experience preferred

Computer literate and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Tools, CRM's; familiarity with Asana preferred

Demonstrate verbal and written skills that effectively communicate with customers via phone, virtual, email, presentations and product demonstrations.

Motivated to learn to handle high pressure situations, objections, and concerns when working with customers.

Individual who consistently demonstrates confidence, ambition, adaptability, and resilience in tasks and engagements with others.

Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions, find creative solutions, and solve problems.

Able to manage time in a structured and organized way to ensure deadlines are met and quotas are obtained.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with teams across the organization

Sales Degree / Sales Certifications are a bonus

Familiarity with reporting and sales analytics is preferred but not required
