Based in Washington D.C., the Studio Manager will oversee all aspects of our Union Market Studio, including both piercing services and earring sales. In this position, you'll build and lead a team of service-oriented Managers, Sales Associates, and Piercers in executing complex operational processes and delivering best in-class guest experiences. You will exercise your financial acumen and sound decision making to guide and inspire the team to meet our goals and continually improve processes. This role will report into our New York + DC Regional Manager.

This is for our new Studio in Union Market scheduled to open in Fall 2024.

Salary:

$80,000

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for the Studio's overall performance, driving revenue growth and creating a performance-oriented culture by setting clear expectations and targets for Studio teamAnalyzes business reporting to identify opportunities in key business metrics and communicates and develop the team's understanding of each to achieve sales planWelcomes and educates guests to the unique Studs' piercing and personalized brand experienceImplements ands trains to service recovery best practices and identifies and escalates guest feedback through Studio reviews to improve the overall Studio experienceOwns Studio scheduling within labor allocations and audits for payroll accuracyUses divisions of responsibilities to delegate ownership of work to the management team, and follows-up routinely to ensure completionBe well-versed in the piercing operating procedures to ensure guest experience, work safety, and record keeping standards are metPrioritizes Studio compliance to policies and standard operating procedures, while ensuring inventory control through POS accuracy and loss prevention measuresCreates a sense of belonging and strong team morale through trust and collaborationOwns recruiting, ensures successful onboarding via training, and leverages coaching and feedback to continually develop a diverse Studio teamNavigates employee relations thoughtfully and timely with cross-functional partnershipRequirements:

Experience: 2 years of comparable Manager experience (Store Manager, General Manager, Studio Manager); experience with jewelry, piercing, retail services or services is a plusAvailability: 40 hours per week across five shifts, inclusive of weekdays and weekends (no overnights!)Comfortable standing for extended periods of time up to 8+ hoursAble to lift, carry, and move at least 20 lbsMust be able to handle chemicals safelyLeader in change management with proven expertise in effectively managing and developing a team of 7+ employees; experience with specialized skill employees preferredDriven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity and speaks upOwner's mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitudeAbility to be scrappy, organized, and navigate dynamic change by leveraging tools and resources creativelyBenefits & Perks
