Based in Washington, D.C., the Assistant Studio Manager will report to the Studio Manager. You will be responsible for executing Studio operations while providing an amazing experience to Studs' clients.

This is for our new Studio in Union Market scheduled to open in Fall 2024.

Hourly Rate:

$28.50/hour

Analyzes business reporting to identify opportunities in key business metrics and communicates them effectivelyDevelops the team's understanding of key business metrics and reportingPartners with the Studio Manager to execute sales strategies and align the Studio team to continually improve key business metrics to achieve sales planService Oriented

Creates a performance-oriented culture by setting clear expectations and targets for Studio teamMaintains an active sales floor presence in service to the clients and teamActions against Studio's reviews and customer satisfaction surveysServes as a brand ambassador: welcomes and educates clients to the unique Studs' piercing and shopping experience through our selling cycleImplements ands trains to service recovery best practicesEscalates client feedback to improve the overall Studio experienceOPERATIONS

Optimizes Work Processes

Assumes all Studio Manager responsibilities in their absenceOversees operations for the Studio including inventory management (transfers, adjustments, and cycle counts), cash management, and supply orderingMonitors, tracks, and communicates operational trends to the Studio Manager and collaborates on solutionsDecision Quality & Execution

Balances analysis, experience, and integrity when making decisions for the overall businessMakes sound decisions, even in the absence of the Studio ManagerUnderstands when to take action and when to escalate to the Studio ManagerHolds themselves and the team accountable to meet directive execution datesActs with a clear sense of ownership over the studio's operational responsibilitiesProvides training to the Studio team on operational policy and proceduresTALENT

Builds and Develops Effective Teams

1 year of comparable Retail Management experience; experience with jewelry, piercing, or hospitality is a plus30-40 hours per week inclusive of weekdays and weekendsComfortable standing for extended periods of time up to 8+ hoursAble to lift, carry, and move at least 20 lbsMust be able to handle chemicals safelyDriven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity and speaks upOwner's mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitude.Benefits & Perks
