competitive pay and benefits, we offer a work-life balance within the company.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALISTAs the Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Boys & Girls Aid's marketing content and internal and external communications, including digital, print, and in-person marketing content; media relations; and campaign-specific initiatives that support the Agency's programs and annual goals. The responsibilities of this role require an impactful communicator who can drive influential campaigns through creativity and effective storytelling. This position works with oversight from the Brand Manager to create and produce high quality, compelling marketing materials and communication campaigns that inform and educate various audiences about Boys & Girls Aid and its programs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field from a four-year college or university, and a minimum of two years relevant marketing and/or communications experience.

Understanding of the non-profit sector and knowledge of the giving practices of individual donors and professional experience in non-profit marketing and/or development a plus.

Creative collaborator and problem solver.

Demonstrated ability to create audience-tailored, story-driven written and digital content.

Experience creating media communication materials and executing media outreach plans.

Understanding of e-mail solicitation best practices.

Ability to build and execute results-oriented marketing campaigns.

Familiarity with a variety of media channels including, but not limited to, social media, podcasts, television, print, etc.

Experience with photography and/or video production a plus.

Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; practices anti-racist service delivery and advocacy for all individuals.

Must provide official grade transcripts, including the education level.
