Portland Leather Goods is on the hunt for a highly energized, insanely motivated and experienced Retention Marketing Manager to become a vital member of our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing customer loyalty and driving repeat business.

Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing both U.S. and international email and SMS campaigns and automations, overseeing our loyalty and referral programs, and crafting insightful analytics dashboards to guide strategic decisions. As part of our marketing team and reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will have ample opportunities for professional growth as Portland Leather Goods continues its impressive expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Email and SMS Campaign Management:Develop and execute targeted email and SMS campaigns to engage and retain customers.Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content that resonates with different customer segments, aligns with brand messaging, and grows the PLG Community.Utilize customer segmentation and personalization strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness and increase open and click-through rates.Monitor campaign and flow performance, analyze metrics, and iterate on strategies to improve engagement, conversion rates, open rates, and click rates, keeping deliverability in mind.Manage SMS Sales program to drive the highest possible incremental ROAS for PLG.Work collaboratively with the internal Graphics Team to develop new content ideas for email campaigns and flows.Day-to-Day Loyalty Program Coordination:Act as the primary point of contact for the daily execution of the loyalty program.Develop and implement strategies to increase program enrollment, engagement, and participation.Monitor and respond to customer service inquiries related to the loyalty program, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.Work with the CX team to make the loyalty program robust and easy to use for customers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of loyalty program initiatives with overall brand goals.Analytics Dashboard Development and Maintenance:Build and maintain comprehensive analytics dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retention, loyalty program engagement, and campaign effectiveness using Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Lifetimely, PEEL analytics, Shopify, etc.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in customer retention and loyalty strategies.Provide regular reports and insights to management, informing strategic decisions and adjustments based on data-driven findings.Continuously refine dashboards to provide actionable insights and facilitate a deep understanding of customer behavior.Customer Insights and Feedback:Work closely with customer service and feedback channels to gather insights into customer preferences, pain points, and suggestions.Translate customer feedback into actionable strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty initiatives.Help create and execute surveys for non-purchasers and purchasers.Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in Retention, E-commerce marketing, or Advertising.Proven track record of managing successful retention strategies, loyalty programs, and referral programs in the e-commerce or consumer goods industry.Experience in email marketing, SMS campaigns, and segmentation strategies, including both campaign and automations/flows.Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify, or similar platforms.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Analytical mindset with a passion for leveraging data to drive informed decisions.Background using ESPs such as Klaviyo and SMS platforms like Postscript.
