The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying marketing and messaging that enhance the institution's reputation as a leading national liberal arts college. This senior executive role involves supporting student recruitment, alumni, and constituent relations, and contributing to the College's mission of providing a values-based, inclusive, and excellent undergraduate education. The VPMC will lead the strategic development of the College's mission and identity, ensure a clear understanding of its values among all stakeholders, and manage the institution's brand and crisis communications. The ideal candidate will be a creative and collaborative leader with a strong storytelling approach, exceptional writing, editing, and digital media skills, and a deep respect for undergraduate liberal arts education. Candidates for the Vice President for Marketing and Communications role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a proven track record in multi-faceted marketing and communications. Desired qualities include a strategic mindset, the ability to lead and inspire, experience in change management, and a proactive approach to diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism. The role requires a leader who is media-savvy, adept at leveraging data and analytics, and has experience in crisis communications and supporting fundraising initiatives.
