Graphics Specialist / Proposal Coordinator

What you’ll do:

The Graphics Specialist / Proposal Coordinator is responsible for heading up all graphics related needs of the organization and providing support for proposal submissions and interview materials. This individual works independently and collaboratively across the organization and must be a highly innovative individual and quick to provide solutions to challenges presented. The position reports to the Alexandria Office, but also provides marketing support to the offices in Atlanta, Denver, Texas, and Salt Lake City.

Essential Functions:Spearhead all graphics-related responsibilities in support of rand*’s design efforts and branding standards.Design materials for proposals, interviews, presentations, project meetings, web, and other marketing initiatives.Develop proposal and presentation content through original writing and the adaption of pre-formulated content.Participate in post-proposal submission debriefs to learn reasons for winning and losing.Develop proposal recommendations (e.g., content, process, approach) and follow up actions to help continually improve rand*’s win rate.Communicate lessons learned with all parties involved.Continually monitor, develop, and improve the proposal process to increase win rate.Maintain rand* website, to include updates and material content management.Assist with creating job site signage, business cards, brochures, newsletters, award packages, and other marketing collateral.Coordinate project photography and performs photography at company events.Assist with event planning and special projects as needed.Establish new vendor relationships; maintain a competitive base for premiums, equipment and accessories, and other marketing materials.Qualified Candidates will possess the following:

A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Art from an accredited college or university is preferred.2 – 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the architecture / engineering / construction (AEC) field.Preferred Candidates will also possess the following skills:

Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle last-minute assignments.Highly innovative and motivated.Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and attention to detail.Strong proofreading/editing skills.Ability to convey thoughts, ideas, recommendations and technical information in a clearly understood and concise manner.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), WordPress, Mailchimp and other similar programs.An understanding of printing preproduction processes, materials and packaging.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with marketing team, Preconstruction, Project Management, and Executive Management.Strong communications skills; both written and oral.
