Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a senior event marketing manager, with prior experience promoting and marketing as well as planning and executing events and sponsorships. The person in this role will orchestrate all aspects of marketing events, from planning, execution, activation and promotion, to follow up and post-event analysis. The types of events include in person client-focused events and sponsorships, large internal sales/training meetings and virtual events, along with community/non-profit events. To be successful in this role requires collaboration, creativity, strategic planning, and excellent organizational skills. Critical attributes include the ability to:Planning and executionLead integration of events with broader marketing initiatives to generate interest and drive attendanceSuccessfully self-manage projects, communicating with stakeholders as needed and/or requiredManage event budgets efficientlyEvent promotion and outreachUnderstand objectives of various events’ and create compelling promotional material and messaging to generate interest and drive attendanceUnderstand and utilize various marketing channels including digital platforms, social media and traditional marketing to promote eventsWork closely with creative teams to ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging and design across materialPost eventLead development and implementation of post-event engagement strategies to maintain momentumMeasure results against key performance indicators and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement to inform future events

Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
