Job Description
Position Overview: [ This position is an entry to mid-level role - pay range is $38,000 to $43,000 based on experience. You must live in the Fort Lauderdale area to easily commute to our office on Marina Mile 84 ]
The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online presence and marketing efforts of 26 North Yachts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation, with a preference for experience in the yachting or boating industry. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and supporting various marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Create, curate, and schedule compelling content, including images, videos, and written posts, that resonate with our target audience.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns
Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with creating and distributing email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials as needed
Marketing Support:
Provide support for various marketing events and activities, including boat shows, open houses, and client events.
Assist with graphic design projects as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management.
Experience in the yachting or boating industry is highly preferred.
Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and website management tools (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
