Job Description:

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The Sr. Manager, Marketing for Residential Products is a strategic and dynamic role responsible for overseeing the brand strategy, new product introductions, commercialization efforts, brand messaging, competitive analysis, and program development and management for our residential product lines. This role is pivotal in driving market share growth and margin expansion for Allied Air Enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Develop and lead a marketing team that will plan and execute innovative marketing and advertising programs in support of category success
  • Work with executive management to set overall marketing strategy, including the financial metrics for marketing programs and revenue generation goals.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor brand performance and make data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend enhancements to the market positioning of the organization's products or services.

New Product Introductions and Commercialization:

  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, ensuring timely and successful market entry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and operations, to ensure product readiness and market alignment.
  • Lead commercialization strategy and execution for new product introductions in collaboration with product management and sales
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans to maximize product visibility and adoption.

Brand Messaging:

  • Craft compelling and consistent brand messages that resonate with target audiences.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure all communications reflect the brand's values and positioning.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on competitive intelligence.
  • Track and analyze competitors' marketing activities and product offerings.
  • Analyzes market trends and recommends changes to marketing and business development strategies

Program Development and Management:

  • Develop and manage marketing programs that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Design and maintain merchandising guidelines for your brands, generating new and innovative ideas while maintaining a consistent customer experience.
  • Manage, develop, and implement sales promotion policies, programs and initiatives to maximize the return on our marketing investment
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize program performance.
  • Continually benchmark your brands and program offerings against key competitors, ensuring a superior offering for our customers
  • Direct promotion programs to align with defined company marketing and sales strategy
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve marketing objectives.

Distribution Channel Support:

  • Work closely with distributors to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that support the 2-step distribution model.
  • Provide marketing tools and resources to distributors to enhance their sales efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze distributor performance, providing feedback and support to optimize results.

Qualifications:

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management and product commercialization and at least 3 years as a manager
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and brand strategy development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with 2-step distribution models is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including corporate executives, diverse internal project teams, independent business owners, and the contractors who install and service products in the field
