JOB SUMMARY

The Product Manager (PMK) is the central figure for assigned product(s), demonstrating a high level of ownership and responsibility for their success. This role develops and implements strategies to enhance brand recognition, generate sales opportunities, and drive growth. The PMK manages the product lifecycle with a focus on commercial execution and marketing, including annual planning, market and competitive analysis, product release, promotion, target market programs, sales enablement, and feedback to R&D. The role also provides guidance on pricing, inventory, service, technical support, and training. The PMK drives short and long-term sales and market share growth by leading Industry DeepDrive Pack(s), programs that target focus industries for assigned product(s) with marketing campaigns, target account research, demonstrating key customer applications, and supporting new account penetration tactics. Additionally, this role supports overall section planning and corporate goals.

DUTIES/SKILLS
  • Market Requirements Understanding
    Develop a deep understanding of YCA's regional market requirements and influence engineering teams to incorporate these needs into the design of current and future products.

  • Annual Product Business Plan
    Create and implement annual product business plans, defining actionable items and tracking progress.

  • Product Expertise
    Possess technical knowledge of products, articulate value propositions, key features, competitive positioning, target markets and applications.

  • Marketing Execution
    Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to develop and launch product and industry related promotional activities, including web content, hardware demos, brochures, advertising, promotional videos, webinars, press releases, exhibition support, and thought leadership. Optimize the ROI for these activities.

  • Sales Tools Development
    Create and maintain sales tools, including pitch decks, training materials, competitor comparisons, sales news, customer references, seminars, and other resources.

  • Special Calls
    Provide expertise to help sales win large and complex opportunities, including product customizations, partnering or solution selling.

  • Effective Communication
    Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, sales representatives, application engineers, and internal staff.

  • Technical Support Improvement
    Collaborate to improve technical support efficiency and ensure all technical data and documents are easily accessible.

  • Financial Goals Achievement
    Consistently meet or exceed financial targets.

METRICS
  • Performance to plan through orders, marketing qualified leads (MQL), and contents created for assigned products
  • Execution of annual business plan for assigned product or products
SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Consistently convey a professional and competent image.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Prior Experience:

5+ years practical experience with Test & Measurement (power analyzers, data acquisition, oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers), inverters, motors & drives, EVs, optical communications and network components.
