A Day in the Life of the Digital Marketing Specialist, NA
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building the Gardena Brand in the North America region with a focus on Amazon and other digital marketing, Internet, and retail.com mediums. They will lead the strategy and execution of marketing programs that capture and nurture leads targeting new and existing customers, and drive sales to the Gardena Brand. These programs will include outreach through content creation, retargeting, targeted social advertising, billboard promotions, email marketing, PR and social influencers, trade shows, integrated sales and marketing campaigns, and cooperative marketing with partners. Their primary focus will be on Amazon, retail.com, social media, and other digital and Internet marketing. The Digital Marketing Specialist will partner with other members of the team to plan and execute promotions, generate content, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
What are the requirements for this position?
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or another relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Extensive experience working with Amazon (Amazon Ads, DSP, etc.) and other Internet marketing such as Meta Advertising, Google Ads, and other social/digital platforms
  • Expert in Google Analytics

Responsibilities:
  • Manage digital and Internet marketing efforts on Amazon and retail.com
  • Links internet to the brick-and-mortar brand marketing and business strategy of the company, as well as specific marketing initiatives
  • Owns the end-to-end creation and execution of internet marketing campaigns, including developing campaign strategy, managing content, and ongoing performance optimizations
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports campaign performance with but not limited to impressions, clicks, web visitors, video views, collateral downloads, and leads
  • Monitors and reports on media performance and web analytics to understand usage and effectiveness
  • Creates, executes, and manages marketing campaigns across all channels, including but not limited to Email, paid, social, digital advertising, SEO/SEM and integrated sales and marketing campaigns
  • Utilizes product and brand direction to craft compelling marketing assets to drive engagement including emails, social posts, product video content and landing pages
  • Assists in the development and implementation of quarterly strategic marketing plans with supporting budget, to drive awareness, including advertising, direct digital/mail, collaborative specials with retailers, coupons, rebates, free product, etc.
  • Works with Sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign follow up messaging and collaborates with Graphic Designers to create content
  • Manages vendor / agency performance as well as evaluation of new tools
  • Understands attributes of the end user and creates target customer profiles
  • Monitors trends in the industry and understands competition
  • Keeps current on Gardena R&D and product development projects
