Job Description/Responsibilities

Create demand for company brand portfolio through channel specific shopper propositions executed at scale & national account specific solutions.

    Wires with and builds influential relationships with marketing leaders at top National Account customers.
  • Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS and promote and support Company culture within Sazerac.
  • Executes channel strategies and category growth drivers through channel specific (brand) portfolio events. Identifies and understands channel specific purchasing behavior to determine effective programming and tools to drive brand (portfolio) activity. Works with Trade Marketing team to ensure consolidated channel and national account specific needs are captured and delivered on (e.g., point of sale, trade shows).
  • Utilize Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Effective budget management of respective channels and national accounts delivering efficiencies and ROI as per shopper marketing programming KPI's. Partners with Global Manager Commercial Planning & Analytics for effective measurement and analysis of channel-specific and national account programming activity to determine impact and optimizations.
  • Plans how to exploit growth driver opportunities through Brand Big Bets, Brand Small Bets, Multi-Brand Drives, Shopper Platforms, and/or Customer specific programming solutions. Collaborate with category leadership team to pull channel and national account specific information as needed for sales decks and customer specific sell sheets.
  • Leverages shopper insights and consumption occasion for programming execution by channel and national account. Cross-functional coordination and collaboration to ensure integrated marketing programming resources are optimized & maximized.
  • Adapts/customizes shopper marketing platforms and/or brand portfolio activities for channel and/or customer-specific program execution to profitably grow the category. Collaborates with Shopper Marketing Activation team to ensure channel and national account specific information is provided in Field Activation materials/tools.
  • Partners with NKA Sales Managers at top National Account customers for customer meetings (programming planning & sell-in, Joined Up Business Planning). Responsible for providing channel and customer specific needs into holistic Shopper Marketing briefs delivered to The Shop.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience and comfort wiring with Sales, Category Leadership, Brand Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Detailed experience of how sales and marketing operate to develop and execute against consumer- and shopper-centric strategies.
  • Direct experience in shopper marketing capabilities with understanding of shopper insights, sales drivers, outlet segmentation, targeted trade investment and customer profitability.
  • Exceptional external Customer knowledge, presence, and influence.
  • Ability to link strategy to implementation, and adaptation/customization of shopper marketing platforms for channel and (national) customer specific execution.
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
