About the Team

Our Project Management team is the engine that keeps us moving forward. It is a group that touches almost everything and everyone in the agency. Norton Agency’s Project Managers are critical in facilitating all the deliverables and timelines at our independent and agile marketing agency. This group serves as the glue between all departments of the agency, ensuring that work gets done efficiently and smoothly. You will be responsible for the daily project management operations, managing timelines, and client deliverables. What You Will Love About the Job

The Project Manager is the subject matter expert for delivery processes and project management office (PMO) standards. The Project Manager is the central figure for identifying and owning the tactical plan to execute a defined scope of activities and deliverables. Since the Project Manager is the primary owner of the project schedule, scope, and financial reporting as well as the overseer of adherence to scope and budget, this role is pivotal to agency functions.

What You Will Do

Lead project plan development for clients Ensure the timely delivery of client projects while driving efficient use of resources across the agency Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they run on time, on budget, and as smoothly as possible Manage various projects for at least 5 client accounts. Projects will range from one-off tactics all the way to multi-faceted campaigns over 6+ months

Collaborate with agency peers Build strong relationships to partner with Account Service, Strategy, Creative, Production, and Finance to ensure a deep understanding of each team's skills and team members. Lead the project timelines, time allocation across projects, and ensure that each team member has what they need to execute the project. Lead kickoffs and facilitate IR meetings, recording and sharing notes whenever necessary.

Ensure financial health of client projectsCreate and deliver project estimates, contribute to monthly billing activities, and apprise project stakeholders of detailed project information: burn against plan hours and funding limits, health, risks, and mitigation plans.

Agency Resourcing Identify risk, build, and execute mitigation plans and deliver impact assessments. You play an active role in monitoring our agency’s resources, capacity, and schedule to ensure that work is distributed evenly, while also meeting deadlines.

Technical Deliverables Create Gantt chart timelines for clients detailing major project milestone dates. Build out task lists for team members detailing the necessary actions for a project from start to

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Marketing, or comparable field or equivalent education plus professional experience required 4-6 years of relevant experience at a creative agency Workamajig experience a plus! Experience with project management software is required, Workamajig preferred Ability to be proactive and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing agency Communication skills that include being politely assertive to keep deliverables on track Experience in creating repeatable estimates Understands how to identify and escalate project risks Can maintain a balanced and prioritized workload
