This individual will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for our advertising and publisher products. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the online advertising landscape and will leverage their expertise to drive growth and innovation within our product lines. This role will report into the SVP of Marketing.What You’ll DoDefine and execute go-to-market strategies and product positioning for our advertising and publisher products.Assess our market, understand the competitive landscape, our unique differentiation, and how to position adMarketplace to our audience, identity and measurement products to new and existing customers.Ensure our messaging across all marketing channels, customer touchpoints is consistent, compelling, and effective.Work cross-functionally with sales, bd, product, and client services teams to drive conversion, product adoption and revenue growth.Create and execute compelling product messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our products in the market.Ensure the successful launch of new products and capabilities to our customers, leading to high quality testing groups and net new leads.Collaborate with the product team on roadmap development and launching new features.Update and build out personas and buyer journeys for advertising and publisher sides.Track, measure, and report on product marketing effectiveness metrics to inform strategic planning and decision-making.Manage, mentor, and grow direct reports.Qualifications6+ years of related work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in product marketing in a startup environment.Experience working on a marketing team as the only product marketing functionDemonstrated expertise in advertising or related industry.Exceptional understanding of product marketing techniques and methods.Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Motivated self-starter with the ability to lead, manage, and execute.Strong analytical and project management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.*Compensation Range: $150,000 - $180,000#LI-OnsiteJoin UsadMarketplace has been named as one of the best places to work in New York City by Built In and Crain’s- the latter of which have recognized us the past three years straight! Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
