Business Development and Communications Manager

to join our team. This individual will lead firm-wide marketing efforts while developing and implementing impactful business development practices. The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful results-driven professional who is comfortable working independently as well as proactively with BCV’s senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing a deep, metrics-driven understanding of the firm’s business development strategy, including refining the firm’s prospect assessment process.Developing and maintaining firm-wide marketing content and other digital assets.Coordinating with design staff on generating project collateral and project narratives.Working closely with senior leadership to maintain existing client relationships and cultivate the pipeline for new business.Identifying new growth opportunities, initiating targeted outreach, and conducting appropriate, timely follow-throughActively monitoring the marketplace for RFQ/RFP opportunities in alignment with BCV’s core competenciesGuiding the pursuit process, including RFQ/RFP responses, pitches, and concept presentationsMaintaining BCV’s website and social media platformsOrganizing and directing project photo shootsCoordinating PR campaigns and award submissions for select projectsDeveloping special marketing initiatives, including books, white papers, exhibitions, and other publicationsRegularly representing BCV to clients, and consultants, including at conferences and eventsQualificationsDegree from an accredited college/universityMinimum five years of related work experience, preferably within the A/E/C industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong editorial and proofreading skillsKeen attention to detail and excellent graphic design skillsProficiency in Adobe CC and Microsoft OfficeThis position is full-time and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Benefits include paid time off, health and dental insurance, along with a 401k profit-sharing plan.Salary Range: $70,000-$110,000All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, or national origin.
