Become the guiding force for a team of 3 skilled CAD Designers, fostering their growth and expertise through effective delegation and mentorship.

Shape the Future of Industrial Vacuum Technology:

From initial concept to detailed technical documents, you'll orchestrate the entire product creation process, ensuring cutting-edge industrial vacuum solutions are brought to life.

Lead the design of all new equipment as well as revise current models to improve product design and reduce manufacturing costs.

Prepare technical documents detailing designs, instructions, bills of materials and specifications.

Conceptual design development.

Represent the company to both private and government bodies to discuss design details of both proposed and purchased machines.

Convey instructions and expectations to welding, paint, purchasing and assembly departments.

Assist with production process for fabrication, modification and assembly.

Conduct simulations and prototyping to evaluate product performance, reliability and safety.

Collaboration is Key:

Problem-Solving Mastermind:

Identify and solve challenges throughout the design and production phases, optimizing performance and efficiency for their extensive product line.

To be successful, you'll possess:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Supervisor (or similar leadership role), preferably in a small to mid-sized (50-100 employee) industrial equipment company.

Proven ability to lead and empower a design team through effective delegation and mentorship.

Exceptional communication skills - you'll be a bridge between engineering, sales, production, and customers.

A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Proficiency in SolidWorks (or a similar 3D CAD program) is essential.

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems (preferred, but not required).
