We currently have distribution in more than 40 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

is offering a great opportunity to a marketing coordinator with a passion for agriculture to join our team in California, it will give the right candidate the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

The role is market development of our premium kelp extract in the USA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a growing market with sustainability and food security at its core. SUMMARYThe candidate’s responsibilities will be to provide support to the Managing Director in different matters related to the business in the USA.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the company strategy and be a part of the growth plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes but are not limited to the following:Contribute to the growth strategy, marketing plan and product development in the region.Support marketing campaigns aligned with Afrikelp global.Execute advertising plans such as digital advertisements, print adverstisements, brochures, e-mail blasts, testimonials, videos and social media.Work with publications to promote the Afrikelp brand.Coordinate marketing activities and schedule conferences and trade shows during the season.Be proactive, secure meetings and create presentations (PPT).Review communication trends and make suggestions for enhancing the Afrikelp message.Assist in identifying market opportunities to develop the Afrikelp brand through research’s data.Assist and manage marketing budget. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in business, plant science, agricultural communications, biological science, micro-biology or other science related field.Background in Agriculture is required.Good communication and presentation skills are essential.Crop knowledge and experience is beneficial.

OTHER SKILLSProficient in Microsoft Office.Written and verbal communication skills required to work with managers, scientists and sales force.Photographic and video knowledge required.Be very proactive.The candidate should be willing to travel up to 15%.Must enjoy agriculture.
