The Hired Guns are seeking a strategy-minded User Experience Design Lead for a boutique agency undertaking a massive end-to-end transformation of a financial services client’s website. That will be the first big project on your agenda, but you’ll also work on myriad fascinating design projects, shepherding them through rapid prototyping and concept sketches, to fully annotated wireframes, site maps and user flows.The Nitty Gritty

As User Experience Design Lead, you’ll have support and collaboration from teams across the agency who are excited to welcome a big-idea person to their organization. You’ll sit at the intersection of creative vision and strategic thinking—carefully synthesizing content, insights and research to define unique experiences that solve problems and draw users in.As a valued leader of UX, you will evangelize the process as you achieve superior results, analyzing everything from copy to concepts. Nothing thrills you more than seeding an idea and nurturing it through to harvest.Your portfolio is packed with case studies that exhibit your conceptual thinking skills, thought leadership, and ability to solve complex problems, such as simplifying user flows, reducing friction, and increasing user loyalty. It’s not enough to be pretty—function and KPIs rule your workYou have led UX design on major site overhauls and are capable of seeing user experience through multiple lenses, audiences, access points and devices. You’re a holistic thinker, constantly innovating on how to apply the user experience beyond digital interfaces to brand experiences, decision-making, fundraising, and beyond.You bring clarity to the work, collaboration to the partnership, and enthusiasm to the practice.
