This person will analyze sales and promotions data to develop insights and generate reports. Support on-going sales enablement processes to optimize new product launch execution.
Job Responsibilities:Use data from internal and external sources to analyze performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights related to proudct promotionsGenerate monthly/quarterly reports to summarize promotion performance and insights that will be used for executive leadership reviewsCreate and manage a central repository for promotion reports, data files, and dashboards that can be accessed by othersManage and maintain an existing intake process to facilitate field sales requests for launch readiness supportSkills and Qualifications:
Understanding of what price promotions (sales discounts) are, why they're used, and the impact they can have on sales performanceData-driven analysis with high proficiency of Excel; Able to manipulate pivot tables using existing data cubes, build net-new tables of data in a workbook by joining multiple outputs of data, and find and implement a new function never used beforeBasic project management; Able to define specific outcomes, build a project plan with key milestones, lead tracking reviews with cross-functional stakeholders to drive accountability, and identify areas to optimize existing processesProficient with PowerPoint storytelling; Able to create slides that tell a story through a combination of datapoints, charts/tables, and main point bulletsSelf-starter that can identify opportunities within their existing projects and then take immediate action without requiring specific guidance on every next stepConcise and clear written/verbal communicator, and comfortable asking questions to ensure there's clarity on a given topic and a shared understanding of priorities and expectationsAdditional Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Familiar with writing prompts for AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc)Ability to build a PowerBI dashboardPrior experience at clientEducation/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance, or equivalent training preferred5-7 years related experience required; marketing, sales, finance, business analystExperience with consumer products, technology, retail or ecommerce industries preferredThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.48 to $41.64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
